C.L. Stockton's writing was so wonderful that I could not sleep until I finished reading. The plot was well thought of and it captured my attention through the whole story. Every character was so wonderfully described that I could not help but fall in love with them. I rarely review, but I felt the need to for this book. The only disappointment was that there was no second book yet!
Read the first book, couldn't wait for the second and now anxiously awaiting #3! Hurry up!! These books are such a great escape into a fantasy world. They are charming stories with some elements of surprise. C.L. Stockton writes a fabulous cliffhanger.
Grab your blanket, cup of tea (or coffee) and a big box of tissues and get settled in because once you start reading Shades of Truth, you won't be bothered by anything other than the roof on fire...
Stockton brewed a masterful blend to ensare my mind and heart. Bravo!

A self proclaimed word nerd, C.L. Stockton has always been happiest while scribbling in notebooks or tapping away at a computer keyboard. She began by rewriting movies or stories when clearly the ending was all wrong. It wasn’t long before she gave up on Hollywood and began writing her own stories.
Her fiction has been recognized as a semi finalist in Amazon’s 2011 Breakthrough Novelist contest and what began as a way to pass time in math class has quickly become a passion. Maybe that’s why she’s never understood math.
